Service Desk Institute Accreditation! 

Mid Mersey Digital Alliance are very proud to announce that we have been successful in getting re-accredited as a 4-Star Business Led team from the Service Desk Institute. Not only have the team achieved the re-accreditation, we have also improved significantly on our overall score from last year (2022). This included improvements from across all nine concepts that make up the accreditation. 

SDI’s Service Desk Certification (SDC) programme is the only industry standard based accreditation programme designed specifically to certify service desk quality. The Global Best Practice Standard for Service Desk provides a set of clear and measurable benchmarks for IT service operations.

To achieve certification, the maturity level of your service and support operation is audited against the Best Practice Standard. Earlier this year, SDI’s experienced auditors assessed MMDA's compliance in areas such as leadership, policy, people management, managing the customer experience and managing employee satisfaction, and in doing so, verified that the level our service is operating in is 4-star Business Led!
